A Whirlwind

Alyse and Andrew met in high school and started dating in 2018 (just before Alyse graduated high school). From the very beginning, something just felt right. Andrew recited the quadratic formula and made Alyse laugh in their first conversation. A few months later, Andrew spontaneously called Alyse and learned how dependable she was. It was clear to both that this was something special.

Since then, they've gone through the same college (go Panthers), new jobs, new cities, and have built a home together in Atlanta. After eight years of dating, Andrew proposed in Piedmont Park, with both families in attendance. They watched each other go through the tumultuous teenage years and into adulthood. But more importantly, they, despite the odds, grew up and changed in complementary ways. That's special. Their past was great, but their promise to each other to continue endeavoring through life hand in hand excites them much more.

In a sense, it all started with a math equation — which Alyse finds great humor in, now that Andrew will pursue a master's in analytics in the fall. They're thrilled for this next chapter: marriage, family, and a lifetime of love, growth, and laughter. And they are especially excited to celebrate their love with family and friends this coming February!
